On October 21, during a recess of the Conditional Use Hearing, the HBNA approached both candidates running for West Vincent Township Supervisor and asked them to outline their thoughts and concerns regarding the Conditional Use Hearing and development proposal for the Birchrunville Schoolhouse. No other questions or prompts were proferred.
John Jacobs agreed and provided his statement to us on October 24. Ted Otteni declined to provide a written statement. He said he would be available to meet at the Post Office the following Saturday to answer questions. On October 26, Ted Otteni contacted us and asked to provide a statement and subsequently provided a statement on October 28.
Ideally we would like to have provided both candidates' messages at the same time, but in the end we are pleased to have each candidate address this important issue for the voters of West Vincent Township.
